Providence Community Action Partnership works in partnership with the community to support Providence residents as they meet essential needs, overcome barriers, and build pathways toward long-term stability. Our mission, vision, and values guide how we serve, collaborate, and advocate for stronger families and communities.
Our Mission
In partnership with the community, Providence Community Action Partnership provides culturally competent services that help Providence residents meet essential needs, support household stability, and move toward greater self-sufficiency.
We do this by:
- Creating economic, educational, and supportive opportunities for individuals and families
- Providing a range of services for low-income residents
- Mobilizing resources that help reduce poverty
- Educating the public on issues related to poverty, stability, and community revitalization

Established in 2012, Providence Community Action Partnership provides programs and services that support low-to-moderate income individuals and families across Providence. Our work focuses on reducing poverty, expanding access to essential resources, and helping residents move toward greater self-sufficiency.
